Tarmac & Trails
Pampanga's ultimate guide for speed-seekers and off-road explorers.
The Clark International Speedway (CIS)
The CIS is the "Holy Grail" of Philippine motorsports. Located inside the Clark Freeport Zone, this 4.189 km track features 18 turns and a 900-meter straightaway where you can really push your machine.
Best for: Supercars, Sportbikes, and Time Attack builds.
Accessibility: Paved roads, strictly regulated. Needs helmet and safety gear.
Pit-Stop Tip: If you're hanging out between heats, head over to the nearby Gasoline Alley for a quick burger or some local Kapampangan coffee to keep your energy up.
The Porac & Bacolor Lahar Trails
This is the "Wild West" of Central Luzon. Formed by the 1991 Pinatubo eruption, the vast lahar fields offer an ever-changing landscape of river crossings, sand dunes, and technical rock crawls.
Best for: 4x4 Rigs, Enduro Bikes, and Overlanders.
Accessibility: High clearance required. Don't go alone—water levels change fast!
The "Delta" Route: One of the most famous trails, the Delta 5 route, takes you deep into the Sapang Bato canyons. It's a test of both your vehicle's durability and your navigation skills.
Before You Head Out
Safety First: Never hit the track or the trails without a certified helmet and proper boots.
Offline Maps: GPS can be spotty in the lahar canyons. Download your maps on Google Maps or Gaia GPS beforehand.
The Buddy System: Join a local club. Groups like the Pampanga Off-Roaders often have scheduled weekend runs.
